When it comes to the proper care and maintenance of our groves in membership, our Production Department handles everything for our growers. Charles Counter, the Director of Field Operations, manages our Production Department and our Field Department. They can prepare land for planting, from pushing and burning old trees, installing micro-jet irrigation systems, to hand planting each young tree. They inspect each grove for pests, applying treatment when needed, and monitor the groves nutritional levels year round. Maintenance of the groves such as mowing, disking and hedging are also taken care of by our Production Department. |
